Welcome to Ride A Wave (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website rideawavelanka.com/ (the “Site”) and participation in any services offered by Ride A Wave, including surf lessons, coaching sessions, and related activities (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Site or participating in any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Site or Services.

1. General Information
Ride A Wave operates surf lessons and related water activities in Weligama, Sri Lanka. All activities are conducted under the guidance of qualified instructors; however, participation is entirely at your own risk.

2. Eligibility
By booking or participating in our Services, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian;
- Are physically fit and capable of participating in water activities; and
- Will comply with all safety instructions provided by our instructors.

3. Bookings and Payments
Our Site does not currently process payments or manage user accounts. Bookings and payments for surf lessons or related activities may be arranged directly with us via email or other communication channels. All booking details and payment terms will be provided at the time of confirmation.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be communicated in writing to rideawavelanka@gmail.com. Any refund or rescheduling options will be handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. No refunds are issued for non-attendance, late arrivals, or withdrawal once a lesson has begun.

5. Assumption of Risk and Disclaimer
Surfing and ocean-based activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, drowning, and damage to personal property. By participating in our Services, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all such risks.
Ride A Wave, its instructors, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, except as required by applicable law.
We recommend that all participants obtain appropriate travel and health insurance that covers surf and water activities.

6. Health and Safety
Participants must inform instructors of any medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities prior to lessons. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any individual deemed unfit or unsafe to participate.
All participants are required to follow safety instructions, use provided equipment properly, and behave responsibly while in and around the water.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, videos, and designs, is the property of Ride A Wave or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our prior written consent.

8. Personal Information and Privacy
We collect limited personal information (name, email address and phone number) solely for the purpose of communication and booking coordination. We will not share your personal data with third parties except as required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ride A Wave and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of our Services or Site.
